Satellite BTC's

Following the model of our main Bible Training Centre, seven Satellite Bible Training Centres have now been established across Zambia, extending beyond Chiefdom Cooma into Chiefdom Mweemba, Moyo and Siachitema.

These centres exist to equip local believers, pastors, and church leaders with strong biblical foundations and practical ministry training within their own communities.

Each training centre uses the Satellite Bible College International (SBCI) curriculum, consisting of three modules and 56 subjects covering key biblical topics in depth.

Because the material was originally written in Africa, it speaks into the realities and challenges faced by the communities we serve. To make the training even more accessible, our team continues to translate the material into Tonga, allowing students to study and grow regardless of their English level or educational background.

Our main Bible Training Centre serves not only as a teaching hub, but also as a support and mentoring centre for the satellite locations. Leaders at each site are regularly encouraged and equipped by dedicated champions from the main BTC, creating strong relationships, accountability, and ongoing discipleship.

Through this model, believers are being equipped for ministry — and in turn are equipping others.

As seen on the map, our reach from Mboole, with its main Bible Training Centre and training hub, into the rest of Zambia goes far.

Often, we are asked about our strategy. How do we know where to go next? How are doors opened? The frank answer is: we do not have a clear advancement strategy when it comes to this area of our mission. We are simply invited because good news is good news, and people wish to hear more of it. So, upon invitation, we send trainers to equip suitable local trainers to run their own BTC. We also encourage them to build relationships with their local primary and secondary schools so that the good news may travel even further, through them, to others.

As soon as one SBCI book has been taught successfully, the BTC students can teach the same content to the pupils. Currently, we are working on training resources to equip the students not only in their knowledge of the Kingdom of God but also in their didactics. Many of our students might be used to preaching, but training is needed to turn it into teaching. After all, our goal is to equip not only hearers of the Word but doers also.

The aim of every Satellite Bible Training Centre is not simply to complete a course but to establish a sustainable ministry of biblical training that tranforms everyday life, choice by choice. By equipping local believers to become trainers themselves, each BTC has the potential to multiply into new communities, strengthening churches and raising up faithful teachers of God's Word for generations to come.

In summary, the Satellite Bible Training Centres allow us to welcome generations into the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of God into generations.

Support Our Work

Running the Satellite Bible Training Centres comes with ongoing practical costs.

Each centre requires:

  • Tonga Bibles

  • Translated training materials

  • Student resources

  • Transport and fuel for mentoring visits

  • Support for expanding into new communities

Regular in-person visits allow relationships to grow and ensure leaders and students receive ongoing encouragement and accountability.
